How torch-on felt works
Torch-on membranes have an underside pre-treated with thermofusible bitumen. The covering is heated with a propane gas torch and the membrane is applied to the roof while the bitumen is still hot.
With Twin Blend Bitumen Technology our torch-on felt uses both lower melt (SBS) modifications on the underside (less heat needed) and high melt (APP) modifications on the upper surface for added protection - reduced foot markings and damage.

Built-up (multi-layer) torch-on felt works for both new build and refurbishments. A wide range of coloured mineral finishes is available on request.
